The story line is deep and understandable from an understandable future. All in all, read the book..P.S. Wonder if there is going to be a sequel? Too many first timers either take several years to write the second book, if they ever write a second book..

What a nice easy read. Space opera at its best. Great characters,nice plot,great speed...I want more of these characters and their adventures.
No spelling errors. Appears to have proper structure. Probably a bit tame for an older,genre sophisticated reader. But good action sequences. Definitely series potential. I will look for future books from this author.
Good plot, well rounded characters, nice tie up at the end (which can be the end or a springboard for a series). The only reason I did not give it five stars is while you are drawn into the story, you are not emotionally drawn in, just intellectually.
I very much enjoyed reading this book. It was a interesting with a new world found. I would like to see this story continue since it ended just after the first journey. These are good characters and well developed. Good Job!!
Good plot, good character development and wonderful world building. The author has an expansive vocabulary which makes reading enjoyable, I appreciate it when an author doesn't talk down to me. Granted it helps to have the kindle dictionary handy to look up words I'm not quite sure of. ] Highly recommend that you read this book and his other book "Reunion".
Good read, I did enjoy the book. There were two places in the book where the author made a rather glaring mistake, one I was completely surprised by. It didn't really take anything away from the book but one of them certainly made a difference in the ending. I still liked the book and will probably try at least one more just to see if this kind of mistake is a continuing thing or was this just a problem with the editing so it was not caught before publishing.
This is a fantastic sci-fi space travel mystery, that feels like a cross between David Weber's Honor Harrington novels and James S.A.Corey, not from a plot perspective, but how enjoyable it is to read. The characters are developed and the technology all seems like a logical extension of today's science headlines. It is quite believable, and the facts the the tech isn't perfected yet feels very real.
